Our real-time Geographical Information System mapping software lets you see the maps that are key to your project on-line, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Additionally, with the real-time data concerning ownership, leasing and permitting status residing in the GIS, you get the added assurance that your maps are always current – and they’re always only a click away. Your project maps are also available to you and your colleagues via e-mail – showing expirations, obligations and addendums. In the exploration business, yesterday’s record of land-related issues is worthless. A real-time mapping and reporting system is invaluable. With SLAM!, you’ll never have to rely on maps that don’t reflect the current, up-to-the-minute status of your project.

Budget Controls

The enormous number of components involved in getting an oil and gas project off the ground requires tight, reliable and timely budget controls. At crucial points during the life of a project, these controls need to be invoked on a daily, if not hourly basis. SLAM!’s budget control module puts real-time, cradle-to-grave budget management at your fingertips.

SLAM! takes the AFE to the world of land management. Want a ballpark estimate of your land costs? Using SLAM!, OGM can give you a free estimate of your land costs on any given project. If the costs meet your requirements, put OGM to work for you. As we move deeper into the job, we’ll give you a highly refined sense of the dollars it will take to handle the land side of your deal. Our goal is to be within a ten percent margin of our AFE.

The flexibility of SLAM! is remarkable. The budget control component of SLAM! lets you see the land AFE 24-7. You can see your original land AFE, dollars spent, dollars remaining, and the percentage of project completion. SLAM! can also alert you when the numbers begin to deviate from your AFE – eliminating unpleasant surprises and keeping you on-mission to getting your project completed on time and on budget.

 Reports

Comprehensive, current and reliable records of the status of ownership, leasing and surface matters are absolutely crucial to the timely completion of your projects. On this front, SLAM! is second to none with real-time ownership and lease status reports that are tied to our world-class Geographical Information System mapping module. Best of all, you can see all land-related issues regarding your project on-line, 24-hours a day, seven days a week – without ever leaving your desk.

SLAM! eliminates the headache of mountains of paper records that may be unrelated to your current projects. In addition to your typical ownership, lease/purchase, tract summary and complete tract reports, SLAM! offers several other reports that bring an added dimension to the land side of your project management. You can even view and print lease instruments as scanned documents. SLAM! automatically exports all relevant data to the following reports that you can access at the click of a mouse:

 • Lease Check Report – reflects the cursory title review of an area of interest. The report reflects mineral owner’s name and address, acreage content, leasehold status (open, leased, HBP), last lessee and address, if available in the records - the terms of the last lease of record (royalty, primary term, special provisions), HBP information.

 • Ownership Report – data specific to each parcel of land. The report reflects owner’s name, address, percentage of interest owned, net mineral acres owned, and leasehold status. The report also includes comments related to title issues found in the chain of title (gaps, missing probates, liens/mortgages, defective legal descriptions, etc.)

 • Open Acreage Report – When the project is coming to a close where you are more concerned about a few unleased interests, this report will allow you to focus on those that are still to be signed instead of having to deal with the ones that are already done. This report gives you a schedule of all interests not currently leased or HBP, the tracts they are under and their interests.

 • Held-by-Others Report – includes information of other players in the area of interest on a tract-by-tract, mineral owner basis.

 • Prospect Summary Report – Along with totals for the following fields covering the entire prospect, this report reflects summary data pertaining to each tract in the prospect regarding gross acres, net mineral acres signed, percentage signed, total bonus spent – along with the net mineral acres and percentage and dollar consideration applicable to any committed interest.

 • Prospect Detail Report – Covering the entire prospect, tract-by-tract, this report reflects data for each mineral owner as to net mineral acres signed and bonus paid, along with the net mineral acres and dollar consideration applicable to any committed interest. In addition, this report reflects net acres signed and committed for each tract.

 • Rentals Due Report – This is a report of all rentals due for any applicable time frame. It reflects the date due and the amount of delay rental obligations due in a tract-by-tract, owner-by-owner format.

 • Schedule of Leases – This report is an overview, on an owner-by-owner basis, of the acquired instruments’ listing dates, bonus paid, and rentals.

 • Obligation Report – similar to a Rentals Due Report, but also includes other possible obligations - including options to lease and options to extend both options and/or leases. This report can be generated for any applicable monthly time frame or be all-inclusive.

 • Expiration Report – This report reflects the expiration of all leases. Like the Rentals Due Report and the Obligation Report, the Expiration Report can be specific to any applicable time frame, or all-inclusive.

 • Provisions Report – lists all leases containing a selected provision. On-line accessible maps can be colored to reflect specific provisions.

 • Assignment Exhibit "A" Report – The client can utilize this report to generate exhibits for assignments, unit designations and other applicable documents.

SLAM! can handle the hassles for you. So you can do what you do best. And rest assured, all the data you access on-line is encrypted and highly secure. You and your colleagues will be the only parties that have on-line access to SLAM!’s thorough, continuously updated reports that will keep your project running smoothly and on time.
